Teachers and educational content creators have been pivotal in ensuring uninterrupted learning during the COVID-19 pandemic, swiftly adapting to remote teaching. However, a shortage of educators poses a risk to the quality of education. Supporting these professionals' ongoing development is crucial as digital advancements demand new skills. While 60% of EU teachers seek additional digital skills, only 47% regularly use digital practices, with experimentation limited to just over a third.

As platforms like iedu360.eu and mozaweb.com revolutionize spatial visualizations in education, the need for digital skills among educators and older students becomes evident. Reassessing and bolstering the foundational work of these specialists is essential, ensuring ongoing support and collaboration across borders to meet the evolving needs of today's digital educational landscape.
